By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using ProducerGrid — including the desktop agent, website, web dashboard, APIs, and related online services — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use ProducerGrid on behalf of a company, studio, production team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ProducerGrid.
ProducerGrid includes the ProducerGrid desktop agent, website, account and billing flows, optional web dashboard, agent synchronization services, APIs, support channels, documentation, and related online services.
The desktop agent helps music producers manage audio plugins, presets, commercial or factory sample libraries, licenses, workstations, and related metadata. The web dashboard, when subscribed to, stores and displays organization data synchronized from connected workstations and user actions.
ProducerGrid does not store full DAW project files on our servers as part of project scanning or project inventory. Project-related server data is limited to metadata: project names, DAW information, timestamps, compatibility indicators, required plugin references, and workstation presence. If a user intentionally uses an explicit upload feature, the uploaded file is treated as uploaded user content under these Terms.
You must provide accurate account, billing, and organization information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, activation codes, API keys, and account access. You must promptly notify us at info@producergrid.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.
Organizations may have owners, administrators, members, workstations, and API keys. Organization owners and administrators are responsible for inviting authorized users, assigning roles, managing connected workstations, and ensuring that all organization use complies with these Terms and applicable law.
The Free tier includes basic plugin scanning and local management features on one workstation. Free tier functionality may change over time. No account is required for local-only Free tier use.
The Pro subscription includes one seat, which grants:
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Core features included at the start of the subscription period remain available for that period as described in Section 11.
The Pro Lifetime license is a one-time purchase for one workstation. It grants perpetual use of the ProducerGrid desktop agent version 2 major release, including future 2.x updates. Pro Lifetime is a local-only license:
“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the ProducerGrid desktop agent version 2 product line, not the lifetime of the user.
Organizations with an active Pro subscription may purchase additional seats. Each additional seat includes:
Additional seats are billed on the same cycle (monthly or annual) as the organization’s Pro subscription. There is no upper limit on the number of seats an organization may purchase. Seat pricing is shown before purchase.
You may transfer a desktop agent license to another workstation by deactivating the previous workstation where supported. Licenses may not be used concurrently on multiple workstations unless the corresponding number of seats has been purchased.
The ProducerGrid web dashboard provides centralized visibility into your organization’s workstations, plugins, licenses, projects, compatibility, reports, alerts, and team management. Dashboard access requires an active Pro subscription with at least one seat.
Each seat in your organization connects one workstation’s agent to the dashboard. Data displayed in the dashboard (plugin inventory, license metadata, project metadata, workstation status) is synchronized from connected agents and stored in ProducerGrid databases to provide the service. Full DAW project files are not stored as part of project inventory.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA): For organization customers using the web dashboard, ProducerGrid acts as a data processor for organization-managed data. A Data Processing Agreement in compliance with GDPR Article 28 is available upon request at info@producergrid.com and is incorporated into these Terms for dashboard subscribers.
ProducerGrid processes different categories of data depending on the features you use:
All prices include applicable VAT where required by EU law. For B2B customers with a valid EU VAT ID, reverse charge may apply.
You and your organization retain all ownership rights in your music, recordings, samples, projects, presets, metadata, files, and other content. ProducerGrid does not claim ownership of your creative work or intellectual property.
You grant ProducerGrid a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, transmit, display, process, analyze, and otherwise use your content and metadata only as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the ProducerGrid services you use. This license ends when the content is deleted from the service, except where retention is required for backups, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational records.
For clarity: “improve the ProducerGrid services” is limited to aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified data analysis for reliability, performance, compatibility, and feature quality. It does not include using your personal data or creative content to train machine learning models, build derivative products, or sell insights. You may opt out of product improvement data processing by contacting us at info@producergrid.com.
You are fully responsible for all data, metadata, and files you upload, synchronize, submit, or make available through ProducerGrid. You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions needed to use, upload, synchronize, and process that data through ProducerGrid.
You must not upload or synchronize content that infringes third-party rights, violates law, contains malware, exposes secrets or credentials, breaches confidentiality obligations, or includes personal data that you are not authorized to process through ProducerGrid.
ProducerGrid, including the software, services, website, dashboard, APIs, documentation, designs, trademarks, workflows, data-processing logic, sync logic, alert/report logic, and related technology, is owned by ProducerGrid Kft. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Your creative work remains yours. ProducerGrid intellectual property, the software, and the technical methods used to process, secure, organize, aggregate, and present data remain ours.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ProducerGrid according to your active plan and these Terms.
ProducerGrid plans may include limits on workstations, organization members, API keys, storage, uploaded asset size, uploaded asset count, report retention, feature access, realtime features, or other usage dimensions.
The minimum limits included in your subscription at the time of purchase or renewal will remain available for that subscription period. Core features included in your plan at the start of your subscription period will remain available for that period, unless removal is required by law, security, third-party license changes, or your breach of these Terms. We may add higher limits, new features, or optional paid upgrades at our discretion.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing period. Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for applicable fees, taxes, renewals, and plan changes.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. If you cancel, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, unless access is suspended or terminated for breach. Lifetime desktop agent licenses do not renew.
Refunds, duplicate purchase handling, and EU withdrawal information are described in our Refund Policy.
Desktop agent licenses are valid for one workstation at a time unless your plan states otherwise. Web dashboard subscriptions may include a defined number of workstations. Sharing activation codes, credentials, API keys, or attempting to circumvent plan, device, workstation, or quota limits is prohibited.
You agree not to:
We may update, improve, suspend, discontinue, or modify features, plans, APIs, storage behavior, dashboard capabilities, or desktop agent functionality. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that negatively affect active paid subscriptions. Core features of your plan will be preserved for the current subscription period as described in Section 11.
Online services may be unavailable because of maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, network issues, force majeure events, or operational constraints. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
ProducerGrid relies on third-party providers for payment processing (Stripe), hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, analytics, object storage, monitoring, and similar functions. Stripe processes payment card data under its own DPA and Privacy Shield certification; ProducerGrid does not store full payment card data.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we select providers to support secure and lawful operation of ProducerGrid.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProducerGrid is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We do not warrant that ProducerGrid will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every DAW, plugin, operating system, license manager, storage setup, or production workflow, or that all errors will be corrected.
You are responsible for keeping backups of your creative work, projects, presets, samples, licenses, and local systems. ProducerGrid is not a substitute for professional backup, archiving, rights management, or legal compliance workflows.
For EU consumers: Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under EU and Hungarian consumer protection law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services under Directive (EU) 2019/770, which applies for a minimum of 2 years from delivery. If ProducerGrid is not in conformity with the contract, you may be entitled to have it brought into conformity, a proportionate price reduction, or termination of the contract under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProducerGrid Kft., its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, data loss, production downtime, plugin incompatibility, project corruption, or damage caused by use of or inability to use ProducerGrid.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for claims arising from these Terms or ProducerGrid will not exceed the amount you paid to ProducerGrid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
For EU consumers: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, create security risk, misuse the service, infringe rights, submit unlawful content, or attempt to bypass licensing, device, workstation, API, or quota limits.
Upon termination, your right to use the affected services ends. Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund except where required by law or expressly stated in our Refund Policy. We may retain limited records where required for billing, tax, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup operations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary and applicable European Union law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
For consumers: You may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence. EU consumers have the right to use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
For business customers: The exclusive jurisdiction is the courts of Budapest, Hungary.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email, in-app notice, dashboard notice, or website notice where appropriate. Continued use of ProducerGrid after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
