1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using ProducerGrid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.

2. Service Description

ProducerGrid is a desktop application that helps music producers manage their audio plugins, presets, and sample libraries. The service is available in Free, Pro (subscription), and Pro Lifetime (one-time purchase) tiers.

Free Tier:

• Basic plugin scanning and management
• Local data storage only
• Limited uninstalls (2 per day)

Pro Tier (Subscription):

• Full plugin, preset & library backup
• Full project scan across entire machine
• Unlimited uninstall - Clean up mode
• Unlimited VST host support
• Editable tags & categories
• Excel export
• Custom paths & extensions
• Priority support
• 1 device license

Pro Lifetime (One-Time Purchase):

• All Pro features listed above
• One-time payment, no recurring charges
• 1 device license
• Lifetime access - no recurring payments

3. Subscriptions, Lifetime Licenses, and Billing

3.1 Payment

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on an annual basis. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

3.2 Lifetime License

The Pro Lifetime license is a one-time purchase that grants you:

• Perpetual access: Use ProducerGrid Pro for as long as the application is maintained and available
• Free updates forever: All future versions and updates are included at no additional cost
• No recurring fees: Pay once, use forever - no subscription required

Important: "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the ProducerGrid application, not the lifetime of the user. While we intend to maintain ProducerGrid indefinitely, we cannot guarantee perpetual availability in the unlikely event of business discontinuation.

3.3 Automatic Renewal (Subscriptions Only)

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Lifetime licenses do not renew.

3.4 Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

• You retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made
• No refunds are provided for the unused portion of your subscription period

4. Device Limits and License Enforcement

Pro licenses (both subscription and lifetime) are valid for 1 device at a time. You can transfer your license to a different computer by deactivating it first.

You can manage your active device from your account settings.

Sharing your activation code with others or attempting to circumvent device limits is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your subscription without refund.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or purchasing a subscription
• Keep your activation code and account credentials secure and confidential
• Not share your subscription with unauthorized users
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application
• Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Intellectual Property

ProducerGrid and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for your personal or internal business use only.

7. Data and Privacy

ProducerGrid stores plugin scan results and preferences locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal files, project data, or plugin information to our servers.

For Pro users, we store:

• Email address (for account identification)
• Subscription status and billing information (via Stripe)
• Device information (for license enforcement)
• Activation codes (for authentication)

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ProducerGrid is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of results
• Compatibility with all plugins or systems

We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProducerGrid and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damage to your computer system or loss of data resulting from use of the service
• Any damages arising from plugin compatibility issues, crashes, or data corruption

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ProducerGrid at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service or other users
• Non-payment of subscription fees

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of subscription fees.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the application. Continued use of ProducerGrid after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hungary.

EU consumers have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
